Smiley Central Introduces "Top 10 List of Things That Should be Tax Deductible" and Releases New Smileys and eCards Just in Time for Passover and Easter

Irvington, N.Y., April 13, 2006 - Smiley Central a free website for smileys and other emoticons, today introduced its Top 10 List of Things that Should be Tax Deductible to take the sting out of Tax Day 2006. The just-for-fun suggestions include tasteless gifts, unused mobile minutes and lint. That’s right, lint.

"Preparing taxes is something many of us shudder at, so we created this list to take the edge off the experience," explained Smiley Central spokesperson, Mike Primiani. "And for those who like to procrastinate during this time of year, these items provide one more way to do so effectively."

Smiley Central’s Top 10 List also showcases a number of new emoticons available to Smiley Central users, offering a unique and memorable way to express themselves by sharing the list with friends and family.

Smiley Central has also introduced new smileys and ecards for both the Easter and Passover holidays, including an interactive Easter egg painting ecard and "The Tale of Alfie Cohen" ecard for Passover. Holiday ecards can be found on Smiley Central’s sister site, MyFunCards.com.

Smiley Central works with AIM, MSN Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger, Google Talk and other instant messaging applications, as well as most popular email and web mail applications. Smiley Central emoticons can also be sent to mobile phones for use as wallpapers or screensavers.

Smiley Central comes with the free MyWebSearch toolbar and is easily accessible from an IM window or web browser. The toolbar also provides users with other popular free products, including Cursor Mania, Popular Screensavers and MyFunCards.
