Oooh! Imagine! We're invited to a prom this weekend!

Yes, you. And me. Zillions of us all primed to prom it up. And we don't even need a date!

It's really meant for teens, but what's to stop seniors in nursing homes from getting the gown, the tux, the corsage and dancing the night away - online at www.zwinky.com, an interactive site launched two weeks ago.

If you're going to Zwinktopia's virtual prom, you'll shop in Z Avenue boutique for formal wear, jewellery and shoes. Tomorrow, Zwinktopia's disco transforms into an enchanted ballroom with a moon and stars theme and a stretch limo is parked at the bus stop, poised to transport Zwinkies to the party.

But there's no mention of after prom activities, like virtual throwing up.

Zwinktopia promises surprises at the free event and every one is invited, "from those who have never attended a prom to those who just want to relive the experience virtually."

What next? Graduation celebration? Summer barbecue? Homecoming weekend?

All of the above.
